JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa has come out in defence of its members in the North West.
This follows an incident in which newborn babies were placed in cardboard boxes, instead of incubators.

The union says nurses at the hospital have been vocal about the lack of resources.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Dr Joe Phaahla has slammed the Mahikeng Hospital describing the incident as poor management by those in charge of the facility.
The nursing manager has since been suspended.
