JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg’s busy roads suffer from broken traffic lights and a lack of proper management, especially at congested intersections.
This has been a longstanding problem, one that has not been alleviated by the promise of traffic wardens, announced last year by the city's MMC of Safety and Security.
So far it's been left to the homeless, to try and assist motorists at backed up intersections, however today the JMPD has sprung to action, in managing the chaos.
