DURBAN - Local government politics in KwaZulu Natal are playing out in court.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) has lodged an urgent court application against Umdoni municipal manager Thabisile Ndlela for the loss of their council seat to the African National Congress (ANC).
Ndlela argues that the municipality is well within its rights to reallocate the seat.
But the DA is having none of it and has dragged her and the rest of the council to court.
That matter has been adjourned.
