WATCH | Correctional Services update on Thabo Bester escape saga

JOHANNESBURG - Correctional Services will this morning give an update on the Thabo Bester escape saga.

Bester was thought to have died in his prison cell back in 2022, but it was confirmed he escaped from Mangaung prison last year.

He's believed to have been living with Dr Nandipha Magudumana in a lavish mansion in Hyde Park since his escape.

Her family have confirmed to eNCA she is in hiding but they do not know her whereabouts.

HPCSA: 'Dr Nandi' was suspended

Magudamana, the founder of a skincare clinic in Morningside, Johannesburg, promised her clients the practice would reopen on Wednesday.

But she was a no-show at the clinic.
