JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg's Infrastructure Department says it's working around the clock to restore power to areas plagued by outages.
The department is facing what it calls a stubborn backlog, following more than 2,000 calls.
MMC Michael Sun has blamed persistent power cuts, cable theft and vandalism.
