JOHANNESBURG - Thabo Bester's mother has described the pain of watching disturbing events unfold in her son's life.
Maria Mabaso says she's relieved Bester has been found and hopes he will change his ways.
"It's painful. Nobody wants to see their child being treated like this. I know he's done horrible things," she said.
"I will send someone else to his court appearances. I don't have the heart to be there.
"Going there would be the death of me. I can barely stand watching him on television," Mabaso said.
I would die seeing this physically. What would happen to me seeing this live? I have other children I need to live for."
