JOHANNESBURG - Promises, promises and more promises, that's the view of many South Africans who believe the ANC's time in power is nearly up.

The party's renewal appears to remain an empty slogan as it lurches from crisis to crisis.

Political infighting and corruption have consumed the party and this has led to a failing administration and poor service delivery but will all these challenges, does the movement still believe it deserves a chance to rule?
