JOHANNESBURG - The  ANC NEC will be meeting this weekend to discuss issues including illegal mining, the Phala Phala and Digital Vibes reports and the upcoming BRICS summit.

The party says the issue of illegal miners is a concern which will need urgent intervention.

The meeting is currently being held in Boksburg.
