JOHANNESBURG - The repatriation flight for South Africans stuck in war-torn Sudan has been delayed.
This means they will no longer be arriving in the country today.
The humanitarian organisation, Gift of the Givers says this is because of communications issues.
"Nobody is travelling today, the flight is delayed until tomorrow, they can't fly out today because we have to wait for all South Africans to get onto that plane. Documents have been a huge problem, on Tuesday the first batch of South Africans were held back at the border, they took 26 hours before they were cleared," Imtiaz Sooliman said.
