'Waluś stabbing concerning': Correctional Services

JOHANNESBURG - The investigation into the stabbing of Chris Hani’s killer Janusz Walus is ongoing.

Correctional Services says it is concerning that a stabbing incident has occurred in their premises.

Spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo says Walus was stabbed while lining up for dinner with other inmates, at the Kgosi Mampuru prison.

He is due to be released on Thursday, as ordered by a recent Constitutional Court ruling.
