JOHANNESBURG - USAid has pledged $94-million over the next five years for South Africa's fight against tuberculosis.
The money comes as the US Congress considers a bill to review US-SA relations.
This is raising fears the country could lose out on similar aid and other benefits.
Health authorities have identified KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Gauteng provinces as high TB burden provinces and Soweto, Hillbrow, Tembisa, Thokoza, Umlazi, Khayelitsha and Buffalo City as hotspots.
