JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Police commissioner General Elias Mawela has confirmed that a member of a film crew that was attacked in Krugersdorp while shooting a music video, has been arrested.
She is a former SAPS warrant officer, Dolphina Truter.
In late July, eight women were gang-raped at gunpoint and their film crew was robbed while they were shooting a music video at a mine dump in West Village, Krugersdorp.
Truter appeared in Krugersdorp magistrate’s court on charges of defeating the ends of justice and theft.
Police say she was found in possession of some of the goods stolen from the crew.
