MIDLANDS, KWAZULU-NATAL - Two firefighters continue to fight for their lives in hospital.
Six of their colleagues died from severe burns while battling a raging wildfire in the KZN midlands on Sunday.

The cause of the deadly blaze remains under investigation.
Mark Winterboer from the Midlands EMS spoke to eNCA senior reporter Dasen Thathiah about this unfortunate incident.
Umngeni mayor, Chris Pappas says the metro will avail access to counseling services and provide supplies for families affected by runaway fire in the KZN Midlands.
He says raging fires in the KZN midlands have severely affected farming. He says grazing and wildlife have been affected.
Pappas is also urging the public to adhere to warnings about wildfires.
