Two Eldorado Park pupils in court over school arson

JOHANNESBURG - Two Grade 8 pupils at Lancea Vale Secondary School in Eldorado Park have been arrested and expected to appear in court over suspected arson.

The blaze gutted three classrooms.

Although no injuries were sustained the fire has triggered safety concerns at the school.

Education MEC Matome Chioloane has warned parents and pupils that violence will not be tolerated at schools.
