PRETORIA - The City of Tshwane says it's prioritising clearing the service delivery backlog following a crippling three-month wage strike that disrupted services in the capital.
Municipal workers went on the rampage, demanding salary hikes.
But the city said its financial situation doesn't allow it to increase wages.
The strike saw vehicles being torched, staff intimidated and services crippled.
Unions are hoping for both parties to come to an agreement in the mediation process.
