JOHANNESBURG - The multi-party coalition in the City of Tshwane has walked out of Friday's sitting that was scheduled to elect a new mayor.
This comes after the council speaker refused to postpone the vote.

ActionSA fired two of its councillors on Friday in the city alleging that they had voted with ANC-aligned parties.
The multi-party coalition says that a new vote cannot take place until these councillors are replaced.
