PRETORIA - Tshwane mayor CilIiers Brink says city authorities have set up a bold plan to turn around the city's deteriorating financial situation.
The city's bonds are on the brink of being suspended by the JSE, and investor confidence is at its lowest.
Brink however believes they have a plan to save the situation.
"There is simply no other way to unlock the necessary resources and to drive performance then to outline exactly the outcomes of what we intend to achieve," Brink said.
"We want to increase revenue and reduce expenses in the city in the range of R1-billion per month over the next six months."
