Tshwane council | ActionSA not happy with Makwarela choice

TSHWANE - ActionSA's Bongani Baloyi is disappointed by the appointment of Murunwa Makwarela, as the City of Tshwane executive mayor.

Makwarela beat the DA's Cilliers Brink to the mayoral chains.

Baloyi insists that the coalition in Tshwane remains intact, he says they will be coming back stronger.

"Look for us, we are disappointed with the outcome what happened today in Tshwane,"

"It's the outcome of a democratic process. But however we feel disappointed because close to 11 councillors decided to vote with Dr Makwarela."

"I cannot point to any councillor whom I know that is disgruntled," he said.
