CAPE TOWN - A truck has been set alight in Langa, Cape Town as the taxi strike continues.
According to the City of Cape Town, this is happening after 48 hours of relative calm in the city.
A few incidents of violence including stone throwing have been reported along Potsdam Road.

The City says its Joint Operations Centre remains activated to coordinate responses to disruptions.
Because of the continued strike by Santaco, the City says its deployment of authorities and police will continue.
This will include patrols along all major routes and escorts for bus services in hotspot areas.
