RICHARDS BAY - Transnet says it's accelerating efforts to resolve the resolve truck congestion at the Richards Bay port.
It's met with the industry, City of Umhlathuze and local businesses in a bid to find a solution.

Transnet says it's been proposed that a piece of land be procured to station trucks in the interim.
The company also says it will ensure the rail network gets back on track speedily.
President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the port this week to assess the extent of the crisis.
