Tight security ahead of Zulu King's ceremony on Saturday

DURBAN - Police top brass and members of the SAPS conducted a safety inspection at the Moses Mabhida stadium ahead of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini's coronation on Saturday.

In a few hours, thousands of people will descend on the stadium where the historic handover of the certificate of recognition of King MisuZulu KaZwelithini as the Amazulu monarch will be taking place.

The ceremony is expected to attract over 48 000 people to the city of Durban.

As part of the celebrations, eThekwini and Durban tourism have shared various heritage sites that have significant links to the AmaZulu Royal house.
