CAPE TOWN - Thousands of supporters held a pro-Palestine march in Cape Town on Saturday.
Various religious groups and civil rights organisations led the sea of protesters calling for an end to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
The African National Congress (ANC) also added its voice, stressing that demonstrations like these do have an impact.
The governing party further emphasised that these protests help to demand peace in the Middle East.
Over 12,000 people have died from Israel's relentless carpet bombing of the Gaza Strip over the past month.
