JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says he is concerned about the widening gap between public and private healthcare systems.
He was addressing the Presidential Health Summit held in Boksburg on Friday.
The second Summit seeks to review implementation of measures tabled at the last gathering in 2018.
The President says the Covid-19 pandemic put a spanner in the works when it came to implementing the Presidential Health Compact.
Ramaphosa also spoke of government's readiness to implement the National Health Insurance.
