CAPE TOWN - A Free State family has contacted police, believing that one of the bodies claimed by Dr Nandipha Magudumana days before Thabo Bester’s escape is their relative.
Over the weekend, Katlego Mpholo’s body was identified.

But what about the remaining bodies and what could have led to their deaths?
Godfrey Letsotso (66) was last seen by family in Kimberley when his sister dropped him off at a taxi headed to Bloemfontein.
The taxi driver told the family he dropped Letsotso off at the Majakathata taxi rank and that was the last time he was seen alive.
Since allegations that Magudumana claimed multiple bodies from the Bloemfontein state mortuary surfaced, the family contacted the police who then did DNA tests and took the family to view the bodies on 19 April.
The DNA results are yet to come back.
