MANGUANG - The Association of Private Security Owners of South Africa has urged government to terminate its contract with G4S to manage the Manguang Correctional Centre.
This after rapist and murderer Thabo Bester escaped from the prison after faking his death.

Government pays R45-million a month to the UK-owned private security company to manage the Free State facility.
The Association of Private Security Owners of South Africa's Jones Maphalaphathwa said, "our call is coming from the fact that the contracted company since this incident has happened they have not take responsibility and this is a very big company."
"We're asking ourselves what would have happened between them and the Department?"
"They would have been service level that was signed ....all of us agree that there is a serious breach in that facility."
"The least that we could expect from that company is to take the responsibility," he said.
