JOHANNESBURG - In one of the many complaints against Malesela Teffo, he has been accused of intimidating and harassing members of the South African Police Service.
The former advocate was struck off the roll on Friday.
Acting judge Thembi Bokako said, "on the 25th of September 2019, the respondent attended at the offices of the SAPS provincial office, to represent an ex SAPS member at an arbitration hearing. Instead of going to the arbitration venue to wait for the arbitrator, he first went to the office of the colonel Smith where he confronted her about the affidavit that was filed in the Baloyi matter."
"He then went to the office of the brigadier... following this unwarranted attacks, a criminal case of assault, crimen injuria, trespassing and intimidation was opened at the Hillbrow Police Station."
"The respondent was escorted from the building by uniformed police officials. The aforementioned conduct is not the only time personnel was harassed by respondent."
