LADYSMITH - Taxi bosses in troubled Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal have signed a peace agreement.
A number of taxi owners and drivers have been killed in the area in what is believed to be an intense rivalry between associations.
But the taxi bosses have now met with Police Minister Bheki Cele, KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, the provincial Transport department, and traditional and industry leaders.
Police Minister Bheki Cele says he is still worried but remains hopeful.
