CAPE TOWN - Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille has extended her condolences to the family of a British doctor who was killed in Cape Town.
Kar Teoh was shot dead in Nyanga during the taxi protest.
The 40-year-old was travelling with his family to the airport.
It's reported that several suspects who approached his vehicle, shot and killed him.
De Lille says the safety of tourists remains a priority and to address concerns, has reviewed the National Tourism Safety Strategy.
She's called for swift action against the perpetrators.
