CAPE TOWN - Hospitals and clinics continue to struggle due to the Western Cape taxi strike.

Health workers have been attacked and facilities blocked.

Western Cape Health says contingency plans have been put in place.

Spokesperson Gerrit Pretorius says resources have been made available in hotspots to monitor the situation.
