JOHANNESBURG - Police tell eNCA there's no fresh update on the Krugersdorp gang-rape case.
Residents blame Police Minister Bheki Cele for failing to keep his promises.
In July last year, eight women were attacked and gang-raped at a disused mine dump while filming a music video.
A year on, police are yet to crack the case.

Charges against the suspects -- who were arrested soon after -- were thrown out for lack of evidence.
Police say the matter is still under investigation and wouldn't comment any further.
