JOHANNESBUrG - The trial of eleven suspects linked to the 2022 Rosettenville cash-in-transit heist, is set to begin this morning.
The High Court in Johannesburg dismissed an application by the 11 accused to have the case discharged last Friday.
It ruled that the state had sufficient evidence to proceed with the trial.
The accused were arrested at a house in Rosettenville last February after a dramatic shootout, following a foiled cash heist.
The men face murder, attempted murder, unlawful possession of firearms, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and theft charges.
