State of Disaster | AfriForum claims another victory

JOHANNESBURG - AfriForum has won a cost order in its case against the government’s COVID-19 state of disaster.

In February 2022, AfriForum launched legal action against the government’s extension of the national state of disaster.

It requested the High Court to declare the state of disaster invalid and unlawful.

AfriForum argued that Government abused its power and enacted cruel policies.
