Stage 5 power cuts to be implemented from 4pm

JOHANNESBURG - Stage 5 power cuts will be implemented from 4pm Monday afternoon until 5am Tuesday morning.

Thereafter Stage 4 blackouts will resume until further notice.

Eskom has announced the loss of five generating units.

This pattern is indefinite and it will remain in place until there's a change.

Following the failure of five generating units today, Stage 5 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 today until 05:00 tomorrow whereafter Stage 4 loadshedding will resume until further notice.
