JOHANNESBURG - Eskom will implement Stage 3 power cuts on Monday from 5am until 4pm.
Thereafter, stage 4 will kick in until Tuesday morning.
The power utility says it will alternate between Stages 3 and 4 until further notice.
Eskom says that four generation units were returned to service at Kriel, Matimba, Matla, and Tutuka power stations in the last 24 hours.
However, a generating unit each at Duvha, Hendrina, and Kriel power stations were taken offline for repairs.
It adds delays in returning a unit to service at each of the Duvha and Tutuka power stations had exacerbated generation capacity constraints.
