CAPE TOWN - Those receiving social relief grants will be happy to know these will continue.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says this is to assist the poor in these tough economic times.
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana is expected to outline this during his budget speech.

"We will ensure that existing social grants are increased to cushion the poor against rising inflation," Ramaphosa said.
Ramaphosa says work is underway to develop a mechanism for targeted basic income support for the most vulnerable, within our fiscal constraints.
"This will build on the innovation we have introduced through the SRD grant."
