Social grants | Postbank reassures recipients the system is 'stable'

JOHANNESBURG - PostBank has assured recipients there won't be a repeat of last month's delays.

This, after a "system glitch" left thousands of grant recipients stranded.

Beneficiaries have started to receive their October stipends.

SASSA spokesperson Paseka Letsatsi says that if any problems are experienced, they are standing by to resolve them.

He has expressed confidence that last month's problems with grant payments will not be repeated. This after a system glitch left many beneficiaries stranded in September.
