CAPE TOWN - Pensioners and recipients of social grants have been experiencing problems at SASSA branches.
Western Cape Social Development MEC Sharna Fernandez says her office is being swamped with complaints.
These include late payment of social grants and in some cases, non-payment.
Fernandez said the SASSA system must be reviewed.
She says it's not working for the most vulnerable.
Fernandez is also questioning President Cyril Ramaphosa’s plans to corporatise Postbank.
