CAPE TOWN - At least 2, 000 people have been displaced after fires tore through several informal settlements in the Western Cape.
In the past seven days, emergency services and NGO's have responded to 6 fires.
The latest is in Khayelitsha where 65 structures were destroyed.
The City of Cape Town says majority of the fires have been caused by negligence and is now on a drive to educate communities
