JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has given the SIU the green light to probe dodgy transactions at Tembisa Hospital.
After its preliminary report in 2022, the unit asked for a proclamation to investigate supply chain management at the facility.

Its findings pointed to undue benefits and the unit says it will move with speed to recoup stolen funds.
Whistleblower Babita Deokraran sounded the alarm over dubious transactions.
She was killed nearly two years ago and the trial against her alleged killers is continuing.
