Sign Language | South Africa gets 12th official language

PRETORIA - A watershed moment for the Deaf Community has been marked.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has signed The South African Sign Language Bill into law.

READ: Sign language could be declared 12th official language

This makes Sign Language the country's 12th official language.

On Wednesday the National Assembly approved that Section 6 of the Constitution be amended.
