DURBAN - As the country marked Freedom Day, people are speaking out about their daily frustrations.

Residents of Ntuzuma, near Durban, say they've been without water for weeks.

They are also having to fight for the most basic of needs.

The pump station that supplies most of the township caught fire earlier this month, and it's taken the eThekwini Municipality almost three weeks to begin repair work.

Engineers say the repairs will be completed within weeks.
