Senzo Meyiwa murder trial continues

JOHANNESBURG - The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes on Monday morning.

It was adjourned on Friday as one of the lawyers fell ill.

Five men are in the dock for the murder of the Bafana Bafana star in 2014.

He was shot in an alleged robbery at his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo's home.

Meyiwa’s friend, Mthokozisi Thwala, began testifying last week and will continue on Monday.

He's recounted how two men entered the house and demanded money and cellphones.

Thwala is now under cross-examination.

He was one of seven adults in the house at the time of the crime.
