CAPE TOWN - Senior police officer, Jaap Burger, has failed to appear before the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
Scopa committee members are not happy.
SCOPA Chairperson, Mkhuleko Hlengwa says Burger raised an issue of safety with him, but he indicated to Burger he would still have to appear before the committee.

"The matter was raised yesterday afternoon," says Hlengwa.
"I said security must be provided and that he must appear and present his issue to us," he added.
