Second escaped rapist recaptured

MTHATHA - The second offender who escaped from the Ngqeleni Correctional Centre last week has been re-arrested.

Athini Nothi Mzingelwa was rearrested on Wednesday at the Mthatha General Hospital.

He and Siyabulela Khohliso face an additional charge for escaping from lawful custody.

Correctional Services officials have thanked members of the public for their help in recapturing the two.
