VANDERBIJLPARK - Search and rescue efforts are still ongoing in the Vaal following floods in the area.
Floodgates had to be opened at the Vaal Dam which resulted in extensive flooding that’s seen homes washed away or submerged.
More than 300 people have been displaced.

Search and rescue teams are still looking for two people who went missing.
Meanwhile, two families have refused to be evacuated.
