Scopa to call Gordhan, Mufamadi to give evidence on alleged corruption at Eskom

JOHANNESBURG - Scopa will call Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan, the President's security advisor, Syndey Mufamadi, and Eskom to give evidence on alleged corruption at the power utility.

Former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter refuses to reveal the name of a politician he says knew about the graft.

De Ruyter claims a cabinet minister allegedly told him to, quote, allow people to eat.

The former Eskom CEO appeared virtually before the Standing Committee on Public Accounts on Wednesday.
