DURBAN - The company that won the KwaZulu-Natal school feeding scheme tender denies it breached the Service Level Agreement.
Pacina Retail has written to the provincial Department of Education, disputing allegations against it.
The company says challenges such as the interference of various forums were made known to the department and it still failed to respond.
The company also accuses the department of non-payment for services.
Over two million KZN pupils were left starving when Pacina Retail failed to deliver food to schools as part of a feeding scheme.
The contract has since been terminated.
