CAPE TOWN - The upgrading of a wastewater treatment plant in Cape Town is set to unlock housing opportunities.
And in the future? Clean drinking water.
A total of R1.9-billion has been pumped into upgrading the Zandvliet Wastewater Treatment Works.
State-of-the-art purification technology will see wastewater treated to near safe drinking water standards.
The upgrades are expected to be completed by September next year.
