JOHANNESBURG - Residents in some parts of Johannesburg and Pretoria have been experiencing water shortages.
The city of Johannesburg has increased the number of roaming water tankers supplying residents most affected by the Eikenhof system pump failure.

Some parts of Joburg South and Heidelberg have been without water for more than 12 days.
Last week Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu announced that Rand Water is not able to meet the demands of the province's consumers.
