JOHANNESBURG - Parts of Joburg are still without water this morning.
This is despite Joburg Water reporting steady progress in reservoir recovery.
While some areas are seeing improvement, others still face low levels due to insufficient supply.
The utility says increased consumption and constant power cuts are affecting supply.
It's promising to provide alternative water supply to affected areas.
Even residents who now have water flowing from their taps are uncertain on how long that will last.
Meanwhile, Joburg water is urging people to observe level 1 restrictions which will be implemented till next March.
